Play the music when you turn off the screen or go to a different app

This app has changed so much my heart won't even turn green or red wtf

I click the heart to save a song and then after the song plays for like 6 seconds, the app shuts down. This app keeps getting worse and worse every time they update.

I had no trouble until i upgraded! Did anyone else have that problem after they upgraded to were they couldn't listen to their music unless the Internet was on? How do we fix the problem??
