Background playing

Once i put a song and go back to a different app it would stop playing. Please fix this. It was not doing this before the update

    It would be so much better if I could play music when my phone locked but right now it seems useless to me. I'm using this app because I wanted to listen to songs that aren't in iTunes Music like covers and that's not playing or official songs. Please fix it, the old trending isn't even a thing on the App Store. Thank you!
