I CAN NOT PLAY THE SONG WHILE OFF THE APP

Every time I get off the app expecting the song to keep playing.. it does not. Please fix this. What is the point of using the app when we can not listen to music while out of it?

My sister has this same app on the same exact phone that I have (but hers, not mine) and she can play songs while off the app but I can't. What. The. Heck.
